I have this new fetish of black painted walls, which I'm sure the initial reaction to that from a lot of people isn't too pleasant. For the longest time I see the neutral shades in an interior decor, and it just continues to bore me. Black, or any other dark-color wall paint, can achieve a sense of power, serenity, glamour, mystery, simplicity, and nevertheless, fun. The key is to show subtle contrast. Here are some of hard-to-ignore looks.
